I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at World Central Kitchen
Interview
I was invited to interview for the phone screening and the manager interview and both the recruiter and the hiring manager seemed really nice and personable, however, after the manager interview I was told to expect communication regarding the following stage (panel Interview) in the following days. After not hearing back I emailed with a follow up message reinstating my interest but did not receive any kind of response. This was a sunrise since the manger made it seem like I would definitely make it to the next round but ended up getting ghosted.
I applied for the position online and was contacted via email to schedule an appointment for a phone interview. At the time of the scheduled phone conversation a WCK representative called me and held a 25 minute phone interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me what I liked about the organization and why I thought I would be a good fit.
My interview with WCK was unique compared to my previous experiences. The hiring manager who called me had read my application thoroughly and skipped the standard questions. Instead, we immediately discussed disaster issues and how I would overcome them. It was a refreshing change from the usual interview process.
