I received an email on LinkedIn from a recruiter. They said they had a fully remote opportunity that they thought I would be a good for. Clearly on my profile I say that I am only considering fully remote positions. We arranged a phone call and I mention that I work better at home and am looking for a position that offers that flexibility. They then go on to say that the position is fully in office and then tried to gaslight me by saying "I'm looking through our messages and I don't see where I said the job is fully remote". I was flabbergasted. The bait and switch was insane. I stayed professional through the situation, but believe me, I didn't want to. You don't mislead people like that.
