I applied online. I interviewed at Wren Kitchens (Leeds, England) in Mar 2020
Interview
I applied for the position on a Thursday and invited for an interview on the Sunday. The interview was supposed to start at 12 however the manager didn’t come to get me until half past.
I wasn’t asked any questions regarding my previous experience or my skills like a normal interview. The manager spoke to me about the job, mentioned that he needed to hire more females, and finally as he was about to show me out the door said “oh I haven’t filled the questions in they’ll shoot me for that” and really quickly ran thought a sheet of questions. I don’t think he wrote anything down except when he asked me if I suffered from any illnesses/disabilities and I answered that I suffered with depression.

The manager seems does not know anything about the interview. Always say I need to talk to HR. So I don't know why don't they just let HR interview instead of the manager.

Very friendly atmosphere, the interviewer was the boss, who was a lovely man. He made me feel comfortable by asking me questions about my hobbies and day to day activities, before getting down to the details about the job. Great tactics. Thank you for a great interview experience.
