I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA) in May 2016
Interview
Had 2 phone interviews and didn't hear back for 6 months despite multiple attempts to reach out. Didn't even hear back from them saying no until 6 months later I got an automated reply stating that they were no longer hiring. Very impersonal.

Question 1
How would you approach a request to increase clicks on this kind of platform?
It wasn't bad. The interview evaluates your product thinking skills for the most part. But they also want to know more about your problem-solving skills. Some of the questions included: How would you improve user engagement on WhatsApp? Tell me a time when you influenced engineering to build a particular feature. Design a new feature for Twitter that improves the new user’s experience

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at X (New York, NY) in Nov 2021
Interview
It was a long process—about 4 interviews (1 with the hiring manager, 1 with potential teammates, final 2-part panel with various people from product, research, engineering, and design) over the span of 5 months. After being told I was a "yes" from everyone and the recruiter claiming she had enough info to put together an offer, I was unfortunately ghosted under the guise of them "finding a better team" for me. I did have one more interview with a different hiring manager for another team, but my emails to them since then were met with silence. This was a very disillusioning and heartbreaking experience for me so I likely will not apply to Twitter again.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at X (London, England)
Interview
Submitted my CV several months ago but never received a response. Even on the HR platform it says the CV was never reviewed. When people go through the effort of submitting one at least respond to them even if it’s a rejection.
