A third party recruiter contacted me about an open role at XPO. I took the call, became interested in the role, and agreed to move forward in the interview process. I then went through 4 rounds of interviews (roughly 3 hours total) and completed a 40-question writing assignment to gauge my personality, work ethic, and career history (roughly 5 hours to complete). I received very positive feedback after the interviews. Four weeks later, after following up, I was informed that the team thought I was a great candidate but “not senior enough for the senior director role.”
All in all, I enjoyed my conversations with the company, but wish that they had better communication and follow-up after the interview process.
