I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Yardi Systems (Waltham, MA) in Mar 2019
Interview
This was a very long and arduous process.
1. Recruiter emailed me to set up a time for phone screen. I replied that day and didn't hear. Two weeks later. I reached out to her again. She replied she went on vacation and somehow misplaced my response.
2. A week later I had a phone interview with my potential manager
3. Another week later, I came in for an in person group interview which included a person on the phone - no video. Also met with HR who went over their benefits package. This lasted about 2 hours.
4. Was asked to come back in again two weeks later for an onsite presentation and assessment: a 10 minute presentation of my choosing plus 20 minutes of questions and answers, interview with a higher up person, then an untimed written assessment that typically takes about an hour or so to complete.
5. Came in and did my presentation, interview and assessment. Filled out paperwork and references. This took about 4 hours. NOTE: The assessment was about 8 word problems.
6. A week later, I received a generic snail mail letter that said they will not proceed with my candidacy.
The interview was average difficulty but the higher up person I interviewed with was rude and dismissive. After grilling me, he didn't seem to want or understand the questions I asked him.

I applied online. I interviewed at Yardi Systems in Oct 2025
Interview
The recruiter reached out to me and set up an interview for the following day in the morning. The next day 30 minutes before the interview was supposed to start, they emailed me and said they are going in a different direction. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem they want to hire anyone. They might be stringing people along with fake job postings to collect people data
Interview process was pretty generic. Customer service related questions and action based questions. Panel interview with two rounds. Brush up on your problem solving tactics and you’ll be fine. 30 word limit

Question 1
Have you ever worked in the apartment management industry?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yardi Systems (Milton Keynes, England)
Interview
It typically involves several over complex stages, with a focus on both in-person, remote, meeting multiple people. Overall fine, but long winded. Would recommend a lot of time researching account principles and the company.
