There was no actual interview, but an automated language test. It was a multiple choice test that asked for translations of german or english. There were a lot of idioms I had never heard of, which made me fail the test. Those questions would never impact the role of a freelance translator and are not representative of someone’s language skills in my opinion.

Horrible company, not transparent. I did a test assignment and never received feedback. I also heard that they pay less than fair prices. The software used for the test was really oldfashioned.
