Interview
I recently interviewed at Zemoso for the role of Senior Webflow Developer. The entire process consisted of five rounds and stretched over a month.
In the first round, I was given a Webflow assignment to recreate their landing page. When I asked for access to their Webflow workspace, I was instead told to host the project on GitHub. Despite this, I went ahead and paid for a Webflow plan out of my own pocket to complete the task professionally.
Following that, I had a round with the marketing manager, where we discussed the role in detail. She reviewed my assignment and asked me to add a few more features. She mentioned that my main responsibility would be Webflow development, but if needed, they would have me learn web scraping with Python as well.
Then came the technical round with their Webflow developer, where I was asked in-depth questions about Webflow. I was also given another assignment — to build a dual CMS filtering system with features like filtering by color, price, and implementing a "load more" option without refreshing the page. I completed that successfully as well.
After this, I had a behavioral round. Two days after completing all five rounds, I was told that the position is on hold.
Honestly, if there was no clear requirement or intent to hire, why go through such an extensive process? It's disheartening and feels like a huge waste of time and effort. I hope future applicants are aware of what they might be getting into. Please think twice before interviewing at Zemoso — the experience left me extremely disappointed.
