Steps:
- 30 min Recruiter screening call
- 60 min Hiring Manager
After what seemed like a positive interview with the hiring manager, she mentioned that I will be moving forward in the interview and speaking to 2 other people (her business partners + supervisor). Then, two weeks later, I received a rejection letter.
I tremendously respect the company for its innovation and products. Hence all the more disappointing when the hiring manager displayed a lack of professionalism.
A word of advice to Zebra's HR team: Your HR colleague was great. She promptly responded and apologized when I voiced my disappointment about their decision and mishandling of the interview process. That said, I highly advise you to train your business segment colleagues in the fundamentals around hiring etiquette so your hard work isn't wasted. :-)
