      Inside Sales Representative Interview

      19 Feb 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Vancouver, WA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ZoomInfo (Vancouver, WA) in Jan 2023

      Interview

It consisted of two 30-minute Zoom calls. The first was a 1:1 session that covered general subjects, like familiarity with B2B sales, sales management software, and overall familiarity with the vernacular of tech-sales software. In addition, it covered general sales experience, and general personality vibes. The second interview was a referral to a second, higher-up, usually a dual meeting, in my case 2 managers conducting the interview. This one was much less casual, and felt more pressured. There was a lot of focus on whether or not I understood what ZoomInfo was, what the company did, and what the company sold. They also did what felt like high-pressure role-plays of elevator pitches of the general software/company. They were very comfortable giving criticism, even when so freshly introduced, and when the interview went alright (according to them). In my case, I was asked to leave the Zoom call so they could continue to discuss and that they’d reach out to me after. Overall, the first interview felt much more casual, comfortable, and average for the job position and title. The second felt very off, and pressured - and in hindsight-sighted, it was a really clear insight into the company culture.

      Inside Sales Representative Interview

      17 Feb 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Woodbridge, VA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ZoomInfo (Woodbridge, VA)

      Interview

First phone interview was cool and the recruiter wanted to hire me as a high potential candidate . Second interview was very low energy seemed like they were preset on just getting passed the interview. Told them i knew people that worked there and it seems they went to gossip about my interview like children on top of still not getting me a response on if i would proceed thru or not. Had the gall to say they wouldn’t just ghost candidates but it seems i was lied to. First interview was insightful and the guy even gave me tips for 2nd and 3rd interviews. But overall just seems like they have children there and it really left a bad taste about the company
