      learning and design Manager Interview

      13 Jul 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Zoro

      Interview

First rounds with the Talen Acquisition partner, which went well. She was very thorough and had a good amount of information. Second round was 30 minutes with the hiring manager who had "just taken over the learning team" and was somewhat unprofessional and nonchalant about the hiring questions. You could tell she had scripted answers she was seeking to her questions, and it was more of a check then box than a get to know you interview. When I asked if there was any hesitancy in moving me to next rounds she stated no, and explained next rounds. Clearly not the case as this morning the rejection email came through. Guess it was blessing to lose this one instead of walking into the lions den.
