      Full-Time Upstream Mechanical Engineer Interview

      29 Sept 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Anchorage, AK
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at bp (Anchorage, AK) in Sept 2012

      Interview

Signed up for the interview via campus and BP's website. I was invited to an on-campus interview. At the start I was given some insight about the position, the process and then we started on the long list of questions( about 1 hour and 45 min). Most questions were in regards to my experiences and how I handled various situations. There was a technical diagram and I was questioned about it. All-and-all it was a positive experience.
