References checked prior to 1st interview with the hiring manager. Hiring manager interview was behavioral, light technical, accomplishments in previous positions, and software quality engineering best practices experience. 2nd interview was panel with hiring manager, architect, and portfolio owner. Very efficient, good dialog/conversational, behavioral & situational questions. 3rd (final) 30 minute interview was with CTO where he laid out his expectations for the role and discussed my experience. He gave a good overview of his experience at BPX and prior employment background.
