      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at bp (Aberdeen, Scotland) in Nov 2022

      Interview

The interview process was nice. You get to make an on-demand non-technical interview where you have to answer about 5-6 HR & personal questions. If you are successful, then you get invited for the technical interview where you will be asked questions to test your understanding of the principles and prerequisites needed to undertake the job role. If you are successful, you will be invited to the assessment center where you will work with other candidates. At the AC, there are 2 group works and 2 individuals. They basically test how you work well in a team, decision making, and ability to analyze data.

      Interview

So far, the interview process has comprised psychometric testing from the company Saville, followed by a Hirevue virtual interview. I have since been invited to complete the technical interview online. I was given several days over a two week span to choose a one-hour timeslot to conduct the interview.

      Question 1

Describe a time when you worked towards a common goal. Describe a time when a task did not go to plan. Why BP? How would you help BP redefine energy?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at bp (London, England) in Nov 2021

      Interview

Very positive experience I applied online, and was contacted within 4 days, so take the Situational judgment test, which was a tricky test. I was gotten back to, 2 days later, to take the Verbal and Numerical test, which was easy, and which I also passed. I was contacted a few days later to take the Hirevue, which was a bit easy, and which I passed. About 2 weeks later, I was sent an email that stated that I needed to be patient because there was a high volume of applications they were dealing with but I would be contacted soon. This really impressed me, as I would not have expected to be treated so courteously by such a big organization. within a week I was invited to the technical interview, which was hard, and ended the journey for me. They did give me feedback on my performance. Impressive again.
