Very impersonal process. After submitting CV, I was asked to fill out a questionairre, then complete a code test. The code test wasn't too bad: a mix of React problems and general JavaScript problems under timed conditions. This was followed by an interview with a senior dev who was nice enough, but asked one question about my own work before asking a series of technical questions about the workings of JavaScript. Fair enough, but it seemed to be about finding out more about my general knowledge of JavaScript than how I work, how my experience might be relevant, or how I might fit into the team. Also was cut off after 35 minutes so didn't really get a chance to follow up with many questions of my own.
Finally there was a brief 20 minute interview with the CTO where I was asked some generic questions about myself and then cut off again once the time was up. Received an email saying competition was very high, etc., but despite getting to the final round and asking for feedback, none was provided.
All in all, there just seemed to be a few red flags about how the place might be to work at. Very intellectual, but at the price of being personal, or really looking for what might make an individual stand out. The focus seemed to be on specific knowledge and passing their version of a series of tests.
