off-campus drive; students from IITs and NITs only; venue was a business center;
two rounds:
1> aptitude (objective type ~20 questions to be solved in 30 mins.):
-NO omr, simply mark the right option on the question paper itself;
-questions were short and simple;
-mainly from speed-dist-time, probability, series, analytical and 1 Logical Reasoning paragraph with a twist (it was a typical CAT-typr LR paragaph, however the questions did not require any solving/calculation.. they were directly answered from the question-paragraph itself)
-anyone with a basic practice of LR and QUANT could finish the test in 20 mins.
-based on the scores around 50% were shortlisted for the interviews, with cutoff @ 16/17 out of 20
quite a few people were caught cheating, NOT during the test but after matching the answer sheets while evaluating them. ** this moment was impressive. the HRs were already very cool and informal during the ppt.. the students whom the HR found to be cheating were NOT disqualified, NOT scolded or anything, NEITHER were they ignored, they were asked to either solve a few apti questions or do some coding right there in the hall in order to be considered for the interviews.
2> Technical cum HR interview (20 - 45 mins. per interview):
-all who reached the second round were divided into two groups and 1 senior HR was assigned to each group.
-the inter views were a mixture of technical, behavioral-fit, general interest, resume, projects, a bit of coding etc.
-most important parameters for judgement were- industrial training, final year project and knowledge about the company. **i think i got selected only on the above three parameters as they dint ask me much technical/coding questions apart from my projects.
there were three drives and a total of approx. 200 students appeared. they had around 40 vacancies and all 40 were chosen from the off-campus pool.
