I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at edo Interactive in Jul 2022
Interview
Each person I spoke with was kind and professional, I feel we got along well and there was a good dialogue. Their VP of Engineering is super passionate and engaging to converse with. The Engineering and Product Heads were both informative and could offer insight on their business needs and were open to learning about my recruiting philosophy. The individuals on the people team were energetic and resourceful.
The interview process was 5 rounds total and took almost two months. I was told by the Recruiter at the Agency that initially reached out to me that EDO's leadership had opted to put the role on hold temporarily, after the final step, to focus on finding a VP to oversee the department in which the role I was interviewing sat under. Then a few days later I received a rejection email from one of the people I spoke with saying that they were not interested in moving forward at this time.
I replied thanking them for their consideration but requested some feedback and have not heard back to date.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of questions surrounding metrics and how success would be determined for someone in this role.
Other questions touched on innovation in the hiring process, and how I would manage their open positions and come up with a plan to fill the requisitions. Pipelining and candidate sourcing abilities were brought up a few times as well.
Each leader asked the exact same question about metrics in the first 10 minutes of the interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at edo Interactive (Nashville, TN) in Aug 2011
Interview
A 4-6 round in-person interview. Interviews are with the CTO, the Vice-President of the group which is looking to fill a position, the Director of Human Resources, and usually two employees of group. For much of the interview, people will explain the company's service and the workflow within IT, as both are complex. The interviews were standard interview questions, but there were specific programming questions.
