I had a similar experience to one of the other reviewers. I applied online and after nearly a month I was contacted for a phone screen. After that things moved rather quickly. I was setup with an in-person interview, though very little information was provided (we were meeting at an offsite location). After the in-person interview, I was setup for 2 phone interviews. Throughout this portion of the process HR stayed in close contact. However, following my second phone interview all contact ceased. They wouldn't even respond to my e-mail immediately following my second interview, as they never provided me with contact information (or even a name) for the person I interviewed with. I followed up multiple times after that with both the HR contact and the hiring manager and never received a response.
After multiple interviews and e-mail correspondences, they could not be bothered to provide me with a reply. While I understand they chose another applicant, they should show the common courtesy to close the loop with all active candidates. A simple form letter/e-mail would suffice. So if this is how they treat potential employees, how will they treat you if you are "lucky" enough to get the position?
