I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at francesca's (Miami, FL) in Jun 2017
Interview
The process was easy and smooth, we sat outside the store and she asked me general questions such as, why I wanted to work there, what do I enjoy to do, how would I resolve certain problems, etc. The verbal interview went very well, this was one of my very first interviews as I have never had a job before. After the verbal part of the interview she took me inside the store and told me to pretend as I worked there and she would see how I performed. I was extremely nervous and didn't know how to properly do it as I was new to it and they didn't teach me they just threw me in, sadly I performed bad because I was not taught how to do it causing them to not call me afterwards. Overall for me, it was a bad experience due to the fact that they just threw me in to see how I did when I had never had experience with doing such thing and sins teach me how to properly perform the task, knowing I was not very experienced.
Pretty fast, it started with a phone call and then in person interview. After the interview in-person, you are onboarded fast and watch some training videos. After that, you are on the floor and also trained on the register.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How much or if I had any experience working retail
One on one interview, asked general questions for retail. I did notice that they are interested in availability more than anything. Had a portion in the end with fake scenarios.
It was an easy process and straightforward. The questions are about what the job entails to see if you would be a good fit. The interview was with the store manager.
