The first round was an online HR assessment consisting of 40 MCQs and one short essay (150-200 words). The MCQs mainly covered OOP (pillars, abstract class vs interface, overloading vs overriding, SOLID), Databases, DSA with Java dry-run output questions, basic OS concepts (process vs thread, deadlock), and a few analytical/IQ questions.
