I found the job posting through LinkedIn. I heard back within a week or two for my first interview with the recruiter. Then didn't hear back from anyone even after sending a follow-up email. I figured I didn't get the position and that was ok, but to my surprise I received an email a month later saying the hiring manager would like to interview me. I thought I had a pretty decent interview, she followed up with me a day later with a technical exercise I needed to complete by the end of the week. I dedicated a considerable amount of time to give my best effort to the technical exercise. I heard nothing back after I submitted it.
I followed up two weeks later and the hiring manager emailed back saying she was currently busy and would look at it at a later date. I swear she never reviewed it because I followed up again and was ghosted until another month later when I received a generic rejection email that did not give any constructive criticism.
Overall disappointing experience that wasted a lot of my time. The hiring manager should have been more professional from the beginning and immediately told me in an email that, after interviewing with me she would not like to move forward ,rather than waste my time and give me false hope.
