I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ikubINFO (Tirana, Tirane)
Interview
2-step interview process:
1st interview with the head of HR
2nd was a technical interview around 1 hour with two senior members
The interview was a clear reflection of what I've heard from the tech community here in Tirana. I would not like to work with those guys/gals. When an interviewer wants to show off during an interview instead of understanding your knowledge and its depth, then this is a problem.
Most of their work comes from the government, and the way they act resembles more of the style of their ancestors from an old communist country where the only way to stay ahead is to rule with a fearful style and put whatever pressure you have on your plate down to your peers. IMHO, they misunderstand "pushing work down" with "pushing pressure down" as a management way of working.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ikubINFO (Tirana, Tirane)
Interview
The interview was very made up in the last minute with questions gathered from the internet and printed in a piece of paper. I applied for a Senior Software Engineer role and they kept asking question what are variables and what are classes.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ikubINFO (Prishtine) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview seemed to go on for quite a while, stretching out to about 40 minutes. What surprised me was the sheer number of questions they asked. While the questions themselves weren't too difficult, there were just so many of them. But the most puzzling part came in the middle of the interview when they asked me to design a database on the spot. No pen no paper all in my head. It felt quite absurd because designing a database requires careful planning and visualization. It's not something that can be easily done solely in your mind. Instead of focusing on quantity, they could opt for a smaller set of thoughtful questions that allow for more meaningful discussions.

Question 1
Currently do you estimate tasks and how well do you stick to those estimations?
