I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at lululemon (Boston, MA) in Aug 2023
Interview
I submitted my application online, eager to rejoin the organization where I had previously worked and excited about the prospect of furthering my growth within the company. The interview process, conducted virtually in several rounds of 30-minute group interviews, was familiar to me as a former employee, and I appreciated the emphasis on unbiased practices.
However, I observed a departure from the usual interview structure, as the interviews were strictly limited to 30 minutes, and I, as the interviewee, was not given the opportunity to pose any questions in these multiple rounds. Unfortunately, despite reaching the final round for three Store Manager roles, I faced rejection each time. Interestingly, the candidate selected over me for one of the positions resigned within three weeks of the holiday season. Ironically, I was invited to re-interview for the same role.
Despite the disappointment, I chose to believe that the universe was guiding me away from a potentially toxic situation. I sincerely hope that Lululemon begins to prioritize quality candidates with a genuine passion and a growth mindset, rather than focusing solely on finding the "perfect fit" or personality.
I also urge Lululemon to allow candidates the opportunity to ask questions during interviews, recognizing that it's a two-way street. Subjecting an individual to numerous rounds of interviews, exceeding 12 in my case, only to reject them, is disheartening and counterproductive. It is my sincere hope that the company reevaluates its approach to hiring and fosters a more transparent and respectful interview process.

Interview
You can expect the questions are the typical interview questions, up until they will dig into your experience, which is something you can't expect or prepared but since it's all about you and they're quite personable you will have to navigate the interview to how your experiences are, ex: tell me about a time when ABC happens, lots and lots of situational questions. Overall very positive I thought I did great but no offer unfortunately.

Interview
Interviews were all virtual via Zoom. Met various leaders. All were prompt, professional, and kind. They appeared passionate about the company and were down to earth, regardless of title. I enjoyed meeting them.
Very thorough and interviewers were very personable and got to know be personally and professionally. Didn't just ask cookie cutter questions and got to know my leadership style. Went through multiple round of interviews and interviewed with many different people from the business.
