I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at mOcean (Santa Monica, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Only had one round of interviews and then had a mini sample test that I had to do to show my creativity. It didn't take too long and then they got back to me and said that I got the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at mOcean (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
Introduced through a recruiter and went through lengthy process that seemed promising for the first 3-4 meetings up through the president. After being told I was making the next round they dragged their feet for a few weeks and I was told my experience did not match the direction they were headed

Question 1
What is your strategy for inbound vs. outbound lead generation?
Got an email from HR requesting to schedule a phone interview. We set the date and time, and when the time came, HR never called me. 5, 10, 15 minutes passed, and I sent an email to HR asking if we were still on for the interview or if we needed to reschedule. Never heard back from HR at all; they completely ghosted me with no explanation or apology. Extremely unprofessional and rude to waste an interview candidate's time like that. I thought highly of mOcean previously, given their standing and reputation within the entertainment marketing industry, which was why I applied to the open position when I saw it, but this experience with the complete unprofessionalism of HR has forever tainted my outlook of the company, and frankly I never want to interview (much less work) with the company ever again. If this is how they treat interview candidates, imagine how they treat their actual employees?
