I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at monday.com (New York, NY) in Dec 2025
Interview
The process began with a straightforward recruiter screen focused on my background.
I was then asked to complete a take-home project in the platform, with guidance to spend no more than 4–5 hours on it, followed by a presentation to two team members. While the project instructions were clear, expectations around how to present the work were not.
During the presentation, although it was stated that candidates were not expected to be product experts, the depth of questioning suggested otherwise. This felt misaligned with the limited time allotted for the assignment. Overall, the experience was average, and clearer guidance on presentation expectations would have improved the process.
The team members I spoke with were very polite and professional, though. Seems like a solid company culture.
