      Interview

Overall, the recruiter made me feel comfortable and she was helpful, but I was told the program is on hold. I was really expecting to start the program and work towards my goal of being a tech professional. I got enrolled in a pre-academy program that's unpaid. I don't know if this is a way of rejecting me because I still see job posting on the site. The recruiter told me she will reach out once the program resume, I wasn't given a date, kind of sucks to be in this situation. I had so much confidence in the interview.

Hello, Yes, unfortunately, this training was put on hold due to changing client demand. We hope to offer this course again in the near future. To be clear, we only offered the pre-academy training to those that performed well during the interview and that were in strong consideration. We had over 3,000 candidates apply for this training, so you should be proud of making it that far into the interview process, considering the immense competition. We offered the pre-academy training to show our commitment to you and your fellow applicants and to offer you some assistance while we wait for an opportunity to consider you for. We were not required to do this, but as a company, we take great pride in helping people gain skills and break into the workforce. Though we understand that the free technical and interview training we provided may help you find employment with another company, we’re willing to do so to express our appreciation to you and those in final consideration. We hope you enjoy the pre-academy training and hope to work with you soon. Thank you, Steve Ramos Talent Manager - US Tech Stramos@wileyedge.com
