I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England) in Aug 2012
Interview
I applied online, heard back from them about two days later and was invited for a telephone interview. They asked me why I applied for this position, why I wanted to work for this company and what experience I had in customer service. I got invited for an assessment day, which was about 3 weeks later. There was a group exercise which involved building LEGO. One person had the building instructions and they had to tell the other person how to build the set (they weren't able to see the instructions). The exercise was followed by a language test. You had to reply to a customer email in German. They looked at the language test and those who passed it were invited for an interview. About half of the people had to leave at this stage. They asked similar questions to the ones I was already asked during the telephone interview. Questions include 'Why do you think you's enjoy the job?', 'What customer service do you have?' and 'How would you deal with a difficult customer'. 3 people out of about 20 got the job.

Question 1
There wasn't any particularly difficult questions. I was asked whether I followed the Olympics as my interview was during the Olympics.
