I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Kladno, Central Bohemian) in Sept 2023
Interview
My interview process consisted of four stages:
1. 30-minute remote interview with Senior Consultant from Talent operations, briefly explaining how the job works, both sides asking questions. First introductions, then I received questions about my background, studies, work experience, current job, why I want to join, if and why do I want to change my job, etc. It was informative and helpful in a friendly atmosphere.
2. 1-hour remote interview with Manager and Equipment Engineer from the Team. Basically, more detailed version of the first interview, lot of space for questions. Interviewers were mostly interested in how my current job looks like and what I do. They were also asking how I would approach certain situations and what I like and don't like in workplace. The meeting was in very good spirit like the first part.
3. Face-to-face meeting in Kladno site with Senior consultant from 1st part of the interview and with Equipment Engineer from 2nd part. Team Manager joined the meeting room remotely from Denmark. First part was about summarizing the previous interview and both sides were asking additional similar questions. Then I went on factory tour with the Equipment Engineer, we visited parts related to the job. There was space for lot of questions, very worth visit.
4. Additional, previously unplanned meeting to help with the recruitment decision. It was a remote meeting with another two members of the team, who were not part of any previous interview. It was a relaxed 30-minute talk, during which we discussed about their role in the team and my potential role, what it is like to work there, etc.
I would like to also highlight the cooperation with Recruitment Advisor during our E-Mail conversations. They were very quick in responding and everything was explained clearly.
The Senior Consultant who took part in the interviews also reached out a few extra times by phone to help me with any questions I had and explained more details. I was very satisfied with the amount of support I received.
Initially, I wanted to join just because my own interest in the LEGO® Group, but the interview process convinced me to join even more. I did not experience such nice interview process anywhere else.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview process was good, 1 stage with recruiter, 1 with future manager and 1 where I had to go through a take at home task with recruiter + manager + engineering lead. The process was smooth
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Normal behavioral questions + technical questions, nothing unexpected
The interview process took surprisingly long for me. It also involved many interviews. But after my first day at Lego I totally understand it. You can really feel the specific Lego culture that comes through this long process and everyone is exceptionally nice.
