I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at think-cell
Interview
The code challenge was manageably hard, but it required a lot of experience with data structures, like they will let you know in advance.
The major issue is that there is no context given for the code you're implementing, so it's a little hard to understand what exactly the requirements are.
Since there is no communication with the company during the exam you can't ask questions that you normally could in your workplace to get a better understanding of what you're doing and trying to achieve.
When you submit your code for automated review and it does not meet the requirements you get one more chance to fix these. The automated response will tell you what requirement your code failed to fulfill. The problem with this is, that it will not show you all the requirements your code doesn't fulfill - if you fail the first requirement, then it will only mark that requirement as failed, but leave you with no information about whether or not your code fulfills the others until you submit your fixes for the first issue.
This is certainly something that should be improved upon by think-cell, but also wouldn't be an issue if your code fulfills all the requirements from the start. It's very generous of them to give you a second chance.

Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your application and the time you spent working on our online assessment. We regret that you did not have a positive experience with our hiring procedure. We prefer to start with the test to streamline our interview process due to the high volume of applicants. We understand the disappointment that there isn't anyone personally checking the submitted solution (we do in certain situations now). We are working on a process to address feedback requests at this stage of the process. please refrain from being discouraged and do not consider this as an overall judgement of your talent. Thank you again for your feedback.
We wish you all the absolute best in your future endeavours.
Kind regards
think-cell HR team.
A C++ test that is between 3 and 9 hours long.
As a junior, I did it in 6 hours.
They have absolutely no consideration for the time you will spend on this test.
I got an email stating that I didn't passed all the automatic tests. As a result I am refused without having any feedback on what is wrong about my 6 hours long work.
Don't waste your time.
Dear Candidate,
We are very sorry to hear that your experience is not to the standard that we expect at think-cell. If you would like to receive more detailed feedback, please send us a message to hr@think-cell.com.
Kind regards,
