About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Drainlayer to join our team. You will install, test and certify drainage systems on civil and water projects, working with excavators, shoring gear and site crews to deliver safe and accurate drainage work.

You will help set out drainage, keep work to standards, support daily site operations and work closely with subcontractors and project teams. This is steady, hands on work where you play a key part in getting the job done right and on time.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Current drain laying certification as a New Zealand Registered Drainlayer or Journeyman Drainlayer

• Class 1, 2 and 4 licences and WTR

• Current First Aid certificate

• At least five years experience in drainlaying and experience working in drainage crews.

• Ability to read and interpret civil and drainage plans

• Good communication and teamwork

• Able to follow safety, environmental and quality procedures

• Basic computer skills
