We’re looking for an experienced contractor-side Estimator to play a key role in securing complex, high-value civil and infrastructure projects. You’ll be part of the team shaping the first-principles pricing strategy for some of New Zealand’s most challenging major projects working closely with engineering, construction, planning and commercial specialists from early tender through to final submission.

In this role you will:

• Lead the preparation of detailed first-principles cost estimates for large-scale civil infrastructure tenders
• Analyse construction methodologies, staging, and programme options to produce competitive and buildable pricing solutions
• Manage subcontractor procurement, scopes, and comparisons for major work packages
• Work with project managers, planners and engineers to challenge assumptions and optimise delivery methods
• Develop pricing models, risk allowances, and commercial strategies for negotiated and competitive tenders
• Continually improve costing databases, benchmarking tools and estimating processes
• Build strong relationships with consultants, suppliers and joint venture partners
