We are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional Centre Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cranbourne and Clyde North centres.
The Role
As Centre Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of both centres during operating hours. You will act as the key point of contact for parents, students, and tutors while maintaining high standards of customer service, student care, and operational efficiency.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong administration, customer service, education, or tutoring experience who enjoys working with families and supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Parent Support
- Welcome students and parents upon arrival.
- Manage student attendance and follow up on absences.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress, enrolments, scheduling, and general enquiries.
- Follow up trial students and assist with converting enquiries into enrolments.
- Ensure every student receives a positive and supportive learning experience.
Centre Operations
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of both centres.
- Prepare and organise worksheets, homework, and learning resources.
- Assist with classroom setup and general centre presentation.
- Maintain accurate student records and administrative systems.
- Monitor student numbers and class allocations.
Tutor Support & Quality Assurance
- Support tutors with classroom resources and student management.
- Ensure worksheets, homework, and assessments are marked and recorded appropriately.
- Monitor lesson delivery standards and provide feedback where required.
- Assist in maintaining consistency across both centres.
- Ensure tutors follow centre policies and procedures.
Administration & Enrolments
- Respond to parent enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Manage enrolments, trial bookings, and student records.
- Follow up prospective families and maintain enrolment pipelines.
- Assist with student retention initiatives and parent communication.
Accounts & Fee Management
- Monitor fee payments and outstanding accounts.
- Follow up overdue fees professionally and respectfully.
- Maintain accurate payment records.
- Support management with reporting and administration tasks.
Business Support
- Assist management in identifying opportunities to improve operations and student experience.
- Support promotional activities, referral programs, and centre events.
- Help maintain high levels of parent satisfaction and student retention.
- Provide operational support that enables business growth and expansion.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Professional and confident manner when dealing with parents and students.
- Strong administration and computer skills.
- Valid Working With Children Check (mandatory).
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence (required, as travel between centres is essential).
- Must be based in or near the local area (Cranbourne, Clyde North, or surrounding suburbs preferred).
- Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in administration, education, tutoring, customer service, or centre coordination.
- Sound knowledge of the Victorian school curriculum in Mathematics and English.
- Experience working with school-aged students and families.
- Experience using student management or CRM systems.

Pay: $27.00 – $40.00 per hour
