The primary focus of this role is to be the production to execute all customized orders, meet production targets and achieve the defined order quantities with desired quality and time.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring and analysis of production plan to achieve the targets as per given time frame and desired quality.
• Responsible for delegation the task to the operators and load balancing as per machine availability.
• Ensure the availability of raw material and consumables required for production in consultation with Store and Purchase.
• Ensure the component manufacturing as per the standard master drawings..
• Responsible for updating the daily production data & maintain the same physically and soft respectively.
• Train operators, trainees and apprentices to help them work independently.
• Responsible for implementation of Safety, QMS, EMS and Legrand way tool in the shop floor as per the given targets and maintaining the same as Hourly Follow up, Field Tour, DPM, Daily efficiency report etc.
• Initiating and implementing the activities to improve efficiencies like Poka Yoke, Lean Actions, SGIA etc.
• Maintain rejection levels below as per CNQ target and coordinating the team to reduce cost.
• Take appropriate safety measures and motivate operators to ensure zero accidents.
• Prepare related records and MIS time to time

Functional Competencies

• Knowledge of production of customized product DB/Feeder Pillar/Lighting panels
• Knowledge reading of all SLD drawings.
• Technical knowledge about the product
• Process and quality orientation
• Ability to manage operators and workers effectively

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience

• B.Tech (electrical) with 8–10-years experience in Panel industry in customized production.
• Knowledge of SCM will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications like excel, word and power-point
