Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to plan loads and distribute work to night loaders to build load to put on trucks for delivery for the next day. Work with Sales, Drivers, and Operations. Work is performed in accordance with departmental production procedures, all safety rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and in amicable cooperation with coworkers and all other staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the description below.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10pm, subject to change and Fridays are typically a shorter day.

Key Responsibilities:

· Download all sales orders I Encompass to begin the routing process.

· Routing all trucks for delivery the next day in an efficient way possible. May require hooking and unhooking trailers

· Disperse all POS and handles for each truck.

· Check inventory of returning route trucks.

· Operate the forklift to assist Route Drivers with unloading their trucks.

· Coordinate with mechanic on repairs need for equipment

· Manage Delivery and Night Loader teams

· Back up for Lead Night Loader, Night Auditor and Warehouse

· Properly follow procedures on putting product away

· Maintain and update reporting schedules

· Maintain electronic pick system and equipment in excel and Encompass

· Taking inventory on a regular basis to make sure counts are accurate

· Managing personnel for daily tasks that are set

Prerequisite:

Knowledge of Encompass, and company product lists. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Strong communication with everyone throughout Triangle Distributing. Excellent prioritization, organizational skills, time management with attention to detail are a must. Strong knowledge in logistics and warehousing.

Physical Requirements:

· Candidate must have passed the warehouse physical strength test.

· Able to correctly lift up to a 165# barrel.

· Required to report physically fit for work.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
