Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Connector Manufacturing to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for RF, circular, custom, and MIL-grade connectors. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in connector manufacturing, precision engineering, process optimization, quality systems, and team leadership within aerospace, defense, telecom, or electronics manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end manufacturing of electrical, RF, circular, and custom connectors.
• Lead production activities including machining, molding, plating, assembly, and testing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time product delivery.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with design, quality, procurement, and production teams.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of MIL standards applicable to connectors.
• Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Knowledge of tolerance stack-up and machine capabilities.
• Precision CNC machining of connector components.
• Connector contact manufacturing (pins, sockets, terminals).
• RF connector manufacturing and testing.
• Tooling and fixture development.
• Cable harness and connector integration.

Manufacturing Processes

• Electroplating processes including Gold, Silver, Nickel, and Tin plating.
• Assembly of connector shells, insulators, contacts, and sealing components.
• CNC Milling Machines (3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis).

Qualifications

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• CITD / GTDC qualification will be an added advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in:
• Connector Manufacturing
• Precision Engineering
• Electromechanical Products
• Electronic Components Manufacturing
• Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing
