The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at RINA (Houston, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Bait and switch. This is not the advertised job; the role was about invoices and collecting payments. I'm very disgusted with the recruiter, the hiring manager, and the company for allowing this behavior. The recruiter asked me to write an overview of my experience, which is in project work—not payments. The job description said, “Prepare and update project documentation, including project charters, timelines, risk registers, and progress reports. Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders.” That has nothing to do with invoices and payments.
The hiring manager kept talking about benefits and policies. Despite giving my salary range of 45–55k to the recruiter, the manager asked again, even though they surprised me by interviewing me for a completely different job. It was just a waste of my time. From the get-go, the manager was defensive about employees leaving, saying they left to work from home and take care of their kids. Very strange. I didn’t like it.
