If you didn’t have any internships a temp job is a great way to get your first big job. I worked as a temp for about 6 months and then was able to put what I had done on my resume and get my first real full time job after college. I was placed within a couple of weeks.
Cons
No PTO, at least when I was there. So if you don’t work you don’t get paid.
It is mostly getting to know you and if it will be a good culture fit. You will meet many team members, which seems intimidating, but everyone is nice and ultimately they just want to get to know you. The little things matter a lot. (bringing resume, punctuality, attire, follow-ups, etc.)
