Pros
- For an online ESL teacher the pay was good, the incentives were good, and the students were mostly hardworking and adorable. - The VIPKid program was very good, and the interactive curriculum was amazing compared to some other ones I've used
Cons
- Since China banned exterior ESL teaching programs, I lost all my classes. I have tried opening up slots but nothing yet in the last few months. It was great while it lasted! - If you have an issue with the program or it glitches on you, 99.9% of the time the company will dock your pay and it will usually be your "fault". I had a few issues with connection and the program freezing, I sent in proof and screenshots but in the end they determined it was my issue. So that was annoying at times.
