Description Advant-e makes B2B e-commerce EZ. Through subsidiaries Edict Systems and Merkur Group, the holding company offers Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and electronic document management software for small and midsized businesses. More than half of Advant-e's sales come from Edict Systems' GroceryEC.com, which helps suppliers such as Associated Grocers do business with retailers by automating invoices and purchase orders. Merkur Group, which accounts for less than 20% of sales, sells document management software that works within a company's Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft application. President and CEO Jason Wadzinski, who founded Edict System when he was 25, controls more than 54% of Advant-e's stock.
