CSSN, which does business as Card Scanning Solutions, provides card-reading hardware and software. Based on optical character recognition (OCR) technology, the company's systems are designed to scan driver's licenses, passports, photos, and medical records. Card Scanning Solutions' technology has the capability to read driver's licenses and IDs from all 50 states and more than two dozen countries. CSSN's flagship product, the idScan system, can also be used for scanning and authenticating personal checks at financial institutions, liquor stores, and pawn shops. CSSN was established in 1999 by brothers Danny Hatzav and Iuval Hatzav (CEO of CSSN Israel and EVP, respectively) and CTO Giyora Sharaby.
