Cook Group operates a host of other medical subsidiaries that manufacture urological and gynecological devices, biological materials, endoscopic accessories, cardiac rhythm management, and vascular products. Its industrial parts manufacturer Sabin makes plastic and metal parts used in Cook's medical products, while its K-Tube company manufactures stainless steel tubing used in a variety of industries. The company, one of the world's largest privately held medical device firms, was founded by William Cook in 1963.
