Acknowledging our SHE-roes - As an employer, we have always sought to build greater diversity in our organization and we are very proud that over the past few years we have been able to grow our diversity quotient significantly (~25% of our workforce are women). When WFH became the norm due to Covid19, it probably eased the travel burden on most but it also meant a blurring of lines between work and home. Juggling several caps in the air at the same time is fun to watch, but incredibly hard to do, which is probably why the description 'SHE-ro' sits so well on our womenfolk. To be a woman is a superpower and we took 8th March, International Women's Day to acknowledge those who have been accorded this superpower. Not that we think of it differently on the other 364 days, but occasions give us a reason to make the effort to tangibly express ourselves what we don't do well (and often) enough otherwise. Hence, whilst it may appear to some as symbolism, it is still an important manifestation of what we probably need to do well and more often. ...Show more

Driving the growth of the organisation through the growth of its people - To lay the foundation of the next phase of our growth and nurture the next generation of leaders who would enable it, we did a 2-day immersive, experiential workshop (no PowerPoint slides!) on 24th-25th Feb, facilitated by the Leadership Centre at Kautilya, Kumbhivali. A team of 20 of our current and future leaders came together to commit to what we wanted to achieve over the next 3 years, and also kickstart an enabling process in pursuit of the same. The workshop was intense and yet we had fun learning in many of the fundamentals of leadership (demystified!) and other related aspects that drive scaling for an organization. The energy levels were high all through the 2 days and team members had to use their left & right brains to tackle activities that were accorded to them and come up with winning solutions. Each of these had learnings that one could take back to the workplace in order to keep getting better, each day, and give ourselves the best chance to succeed in respect of what we have set out to....Show more
