A subsidiary of IDT, the company provides voice-over-Internet protocol (VoIP) computer telephony services to consumers and businesses in search of savings on calls. Services are sold through other telecom carriers, ISP's, and other resellers. Through retail distributors, it also sells prepaid calling cards in the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia under the Net2Phone Direct and PennyTalk brands. Net2Phone operates through two subsidiaries: Net2Phone Global Services, which provides VoIP services to retail and business customers, and Net2Phone Cable Telephony, which markets its services to cable operators in North America and Western Europe.
