Raritan Americas makes specialized computing products used in data centers and other corporate environments that engage in intensive IT activities. The company's products include PC keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) switches which enable multiple PC servers and networking equipment to be controlled from a single set of devices and related connectivity devices, including serial console and remote management systems. Raritan sells directly and through resellers and distributors to computer hardware vendors and enterprise customers. The company's global customer base has included Cisco, Dell, EarthLink, Merrill Lynch, NASA, and Oklahoma State University. Raritan was founded in 1985 by chairman and CEO Ching-I Hsu.
