Ripon College is a private institution that offers undergraduate degrees in the liberal arts and sciences. It has more than 30 different majors and nearly 40 minor fields of study. The college, which guarantees on-campus housing for students for four years, enrolls approximately 1,000 undergraduates annually and employs more than 75 faculty members. Ripon College was founded in 1851 as a college preparatory school and converted to a four-year college in 1863. It boasts famous alumni such as Al Jarreau, Harrison Ford, and Spencer Tracy.
