Founded in 1999 and based in Cardiff, Wales, Electronica UK’s core business was in the design of magnetic systems and the electric motor. The company won several grant awards from the Welsh Government, Technology Strategy Board, and the Carbon Trust for their innovative designs. They hold seven patents for those designs with several others still pending. With the help of Nick Grewal, ePropelled began with the partnership and passion to create ePropelled, a leader in electric propulsion systems.
The UK-based innovation center was established in Cardiff, where the owner of the impressive patents and the company CTO, Nabeel Shirazee resides. The US-based headquarters and the solution center were established in Lowell, MA, while the engineering center was opened in Chennai, India. ePropelled has a growing team of more than 40 engineers, including five PhDs, with over 400 years of combined engineering experience.
