Pros

Being near the highway makes it fairly easy to commute.

Cons

It's a franchise which means it's a mom and pop. Pop is a good guy for the most part but Mom is one for micro managing and overly emotional. And, Pop is the happy wife, happy life type so she can do no wrong. The employees are unprofessional, regularly having spats with one another because of the emotional and unprofessional tone that management sets. It was told to me by my former office mate that everyone in my position before me resigned because of emotional and unprofessional Mom. The office also has rodents per the droppings left on my desk far too often., over flowing garbage cans was also routine. I would think that if the cleaning staff only comes a couple times a week that management would make sure that things like that are addressed. I have not worked in an environment like this in all of my 20 years of providing customer service. Gnats during the summer which makes it very uncomfortable to work at times. Training left a lot to be desired and the fact that I have extensive experience in navigating customers meant nothing. My somewhat uptight and very professional demeanor was seen as being too professional. And when I pushed back or questioned the training, Mom would become noticeably angry and emotional. It made for a stressful place to work. And, while I'm a dog person, the dogs that they brought to work were undisciplined but they're their babies so you better not criticize although It would be the equivalent of bringing your undisciplined toddler to work quite often. One barks at people at times and the other is constantly seeking affection even to the degree of being somewhat forceful in doing so.
