      Learn from Houston's mistakes

      -flexible hours -decent money -online scheduling -some friendly employees

      The owner was inspired from Houston's restaurant and it is apparent in their rules and policies in dress and hair. As a black woman, I was pulled aside and told to wear my hair straight because my natural hair did not abide by the hair policy. Owner was in nearly everyday and never remembered me although I was there for 2 years. When I left I had a meeting with the owner to discuss the discrimination issues I faced whilst there and nothing ever came of it.

      Consistent dinner shifts. Pretty good pay if you mostly work these.

      Cons

      Not so great lunches. Can work a full lunch and make 50 bucks. about 10$ an hour. Can do well, but don't bet on it. Management sees you as a number and nothing more. Training is grueling(you have to pass a mock wait to even be able to serve, and even then, you only start with a 2 table section), and if you get three negative reviews that specify your name, you are fired, no questions, or ability to explain the situation. Not great.

      This is a good workplace for people who prefer very stringent rules and an intentional design behind everything.

      Cons

      The strict rules and standards can be exhausting. It's not for everyone.
