Started off alright, then became completely horrible.

Pros

The pay was 'decent' for the position. Other than that, very little was positive.

Cons

Working at the head office is horrible. The owner is a sexist, racist, entitled, elitist, close minded bigot. It is a hostile work environment. Upper management frequently shouts and curses at everyone. The technology in the office is severely outdated. Have to be careful not to 'fall out of favor' with the office.

Red Flags Everywhere

Pros

In house staff can be cool. Customers are pretty awesome for the most part.

Cons

Where to start.. This company used to be a pretty good one. I loved working there and seeing my regulars for the longest and then the new ownership came in and the red flags started showing up. In a management meeting (our first time meeting,) they told us that everyone’s job was safe and that whoever made the most money or worked the hardest would get a trip to the Bahamas. 🚩 They want to be treated like royalty but talk to you like you’re the dirt underneath their shoes. Don’t say, “what’s up” to them unless you’re prepared to get lectured about how disrespectful you are. 🚩If you don’t greet them at the door with a Hello and a smile, then they will call you out in front of customers and staff..and no it doesn’t matter how new you are. 🚩 They pay people in India 5 cents per minute to watch the cameras and if they catch anyone being weird or stealing then they get a bonus. 🚩 They don’t tell their employees that there is audio on the cameras and they definitely don’t have you sign anything giving consent.🚩 If they hear you talking badly then they will send you home and ignore you from then on. 🚩 They will start rumors about you and 10/10 of the time they’re the victims. 🚩We used to have this fun Frosty Friday where our reps cover a 6 pack for us to sample to the customers to promote the sale, & whatever is leftover is given to the employees, but now they will fire you for taking ANYTHING out of their store. No warning. No civil communications. Just him yelling and a threat that the police are involved.🚩 There is a strict no bag policy in the store so ladies don’t bring your purses or backpacks in the store otherwise he will accuse you of stealing his stuff when you’re just handling your own private property. 🚩 He will allow managers to take monitors home to watch the cameras. 🚩🚩 They are pros with sweet talking and making you feel seen and heard, weather it comes to support or a promotion, but then nothing comes of it. 🚩 If anything needs fixed on the delivery van, they will ignore it until they’re harassed about. So the delivery drivers could go months without AC. 🚩They hate everyone but especially women. They’ll cut you off in conversation and push you to the side. But then blame you for not being able to read their minds 🚩 If you’re management they will blow up your phone at any hour of the day and night. But if there’s a personal emergency, they will ignore you. 🚩 They are constantly changing things in stores that don’t make sense. 🚩 They think their solution for “success” is to put their people in charge who also don’t know what they’re doing & they’ll work against the staff who has been there during its entirety. 🚩They will accuse of you stealing just for doing your job, which is funny cause if you do your research on them you’ll see they are the thieves. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The paranoia is unreal. The audacity is unbelievable. They have absolutely no idea what they’re doing and they do not respect anyone outside of their circle. 🚩They do not honor contracts at all & mycase will prove that. 💯The company has lost handfuls and handfuls of amazing people because of how they treat their staff. Between the reviews on here and their Blue Ridge Hotel Partners, you’ll see all the warnings. 🚩 They will hire in people and give them no training whatsoever but then will yell when things aren’t done right.🚩 They don’t do things legally & they don’t care when they’re told otherwise. 🚩 They’ll offer to buy you a car so you’ll basically be a slave to them but trust, that and the money are not worth the damage that they will do to you physically and mentally. 🚩 The corporate office doesn’t know anything and there’s no HR department to complain to. 🚩They will screw over Reps which in turn screws over the store and the customers.🚩If you apply to any of their businesses, don’t get your hopes up to actually work that position cause they’ll move you to a store that’s not even close to you or in the same category of what you were applying for. 🚩Honestly the list could go on and on, and they havent even been owners for a full year! But the red flags are there so if you’re thinking about doing an interview or taking a position, take this warning/review into consideration. The Ghomans do not care who you are, or how hard you work..they will squash you like a bug and walk away even more richer.
