Pros
The only good part about this company is that if you want to screw someone’s career, peace of mind and work life balance, then refer him in 3d systems Goa and hope he/she gets selected. Managers will do the rest. I know some people have said good things about this company but that was long time ago. Now things have changed. Its gone from bad to worst.
Cons
I can write entire book in Cons section but I will keep it short. 1.Managers Managers are the worst people you will find in this company. They have not much technical knowledge but they think they are the best in the world. Mangers will set up new processes saying that we are improving things; unfortunately these processes are not introduced to improve product quality, nor to improve software development processes, but to make their own life easier and keep pushing most of the work to people lower down the hierarchy. They always make sure that if something good happens they will take the credit from higher management, on the other hand if something goes wrong then they point finger at you, blame you, instead of taking the responsibility as team leaders and help you out. You are on your own here. Managers are here only to put pressure on employees and get things done. You will face dirty politics everyday. This is their only contribution to the team and company. 2.Work life balance and CRAZY deadlines If you are ready to work till 4-5 a.m. in morning very frequently, then this is the place. Typically you will be working around 50-60 hours a week. This is very common because of crazy deadlines management sets. For example if there is work which requires 3 weeks, then they will ask you to deliver it in 4-5 days. Apart from this you will get very small number of leaves. 3.Technology If you are going for interview, the interviewer will boast about technology of this company. They will give great talk about the technology they use. Don’t get enticed/fooled with it. You will be working with ordinary technology because only USA team gets to work on good technologies. Company is absolutely not bothered about employee’s interest and personal growth. 4.Last word This company treats their employees like slaves. There are many ways to mess up you life, joining this company is one of them.
